It started as a fatal accident - quickly turns into a murder investigation.
Police say it all happened on Interstate 40 in Conway, Arkansas.
There officers say a man was shot while driving.
Authorities say the victim is 31-year-old Jose Martinez of Conway.
Investigators suspect someone pulled-up along Martinez near the Dave Ward Drive exit and shot him.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident--which happened before 5 Sunday morning--to contact Arkansas State Police.
