It's been nearly a month since James House says he had several items, including guns and money, taken from his home.
Officials say to keep your home safe, you should take precautions like having a light that is set to come on and go off at various times.
Also have your neighbors or a friend pick up your mail and keep an eye on your home.
House says being a victim has had some lasting effects.
"I have sleep problems, it makes you a little more paranoid, you hear more things then probably what you would normally hear during the middle of the night and there something in the back of your mind of thinking it could happen again, " says House.
If you have any information on House's property, call the Geneva County Sheriff's Office at 334 684 5660.
