The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of a home invasion robbery on October 6th at 1150 Airport Road in Destin.
The 30-year old victim says he was sitting on his couch watching football around 8:30 p.m. when he heard a knock at the door. When he looked out the window, he saw a woman and then opened the door. He then noticed another female outside and saw two men running towards his door.
The victim says he ran towards his bedroom to get a firearm and was knocked down and hit three or four times. He says one of the men took his pistol, his cell phone and cash. He told deputies the suspects got into a Jeep Cherokee type vehicle and left.
