A major highway in central Florida is shut down in both directions due to a brush fire and poor visibility.

A Florida Highway Patrol report shows that a few miles of Interstate-95 were shut down Saturday afternoon from US-1 to State Road 40 in Volusia County.

Spokeswoman Sgt. Kim Montes says there are brush fires in both Volusia and Osceola counties, but only Volusia has a road closure.
