The Henry County Sheriff's office will have a new home for it's aircraft.
The city of Abbeville recently approved to allow the sheriff's office to keep their plane at the Abbeville Municipal Airport.
Monday, county offcials met to discuss building a hangar.
This will be the first hangar at the airport.
The aircraft is currently being kept at the Headland airport but officals want to move it closer to the sheriff's office.
"Our plan is to build an aircraft hangar that has two purposes to store our aircraft in a secure building and number two to also provide some training in that building there is enough room in the hangar to set up tables for training," said pilot for Henry County Sheriff's Office, Larry Hudson.
The plane has to be out of headland by October.
