Henry County Reserve Deputies Train With Aircraft

When Henry County Reserve Deputies are called to serve and protect. and now they'll have a bird's eye view to do just that.

Deputies trained with their aircraft to look for marijuana fields, missing children and do recon.

One person would be in the plane as the spotter looking for the target.

And once that target is found deputies would send back the coordinates to the ground team, so they could locate it.

Deputies say this helps them be prepared for any situation.

"Keep up on the skills make sure you understand the equipment and the processes that go into it and make sure you are sharp that way when something does happen you are good and ready and you don't have to second guess yourself or anything like that," said Deputy David Vanlaningham.

This is the first time the reserve deputies have trained with the aircraft.
