Henry County Gearing Up For Elections

Henry County is gearing up for elections.

Monday, January 13th, citizens can begin putting in applications to qualify for different county offices.

Positions available are Henry County Sheriff, Coroner, Revenue, Commissioner, three County Commission seat and one School Board position.

The qualifying process this year is shorter than before lasting about three and a half weeks.

“There is a federal regulation that has come down because of our military personnel and people who live overseas this will give them time to get their ballots printed and get then over there and back in," said Probate Judge Davis Money.

If you are interesting in qualifying, you must contact the Henry County Republican or Democratic Chair in Headland, and apply by February 7th.
