Healthy Lifestyle Cooking School for Diabetics

DOTHAN, AL - The Public is invited to attend a Healthy lifestyle Cooking School for Diabetics or if you just want a healthier lifestyle, sponsored by the Alabama Cooperative Extension System and Flowers Hospital. The program will include: Nutrition Education lessons taught by Teresa Forehand, Regional Extension Agent. Cooking Demonstrations - Regional Agent Rosalind James and Jamie Sharp, RDLD, Registered Clinical Dietitian -Flowers Hospital, Exercise by Zumba in the Chair by Christina. SIX SESSIONS FROM 10:00 A.M. - 12 NOON: March 14, March 21, March 28, April 4, April 11,and September 5th - Program Follow-up.

The classes will be held at the Alabama Cooperative Extension System office Auditorium located at 1699 Ross Clark Circle, Suite 4, Dothan, Alabama 36301.Registration fee: $10.00 - Awards presented to participants that attends all sessions. Make checks payable to the Alabama Cooperative Extension System Deadline March 11, 2013. Onsite registration will be accepted. Call Rosalind James at 334-794-4108 for further information.
