Headland City Hall & Chamber of Commerce Moving This Summer

HEADLAND, AL -- Headland 's City Hall is packing its bags.

The city will be moving into the old Alabama Power Building on the square.

City officials say the current building they are in is not big enough so the move will provide extra space.

The move will also put the Headland Chamber in the same building other city offices.

The new municipal complex will also have an information desk for visitors.

"It will be very good for the comminuty to be able to go to one place and be able to take care of a lot of business in one place when they are paying their water bill they may see a notice about a event that is coming up they didnt know about," said Rhonda Harrison, excutive director of the Headland Chamber of Commerce.

The move will happen in July.
