On October 6, 2012 the Dothan Police Department responded to reports of a reckless driver on the south side of Dothan. Callers stated the vehicle was speeding, running off the roadway and running red lights. A responding officer located the vehicle which had just stopped in the parking lot of Cowboy’s and made contact with Lynn McCallister, who was seated in the driver’s seat. During the investigation, a police canine indicated the odor of narcotics coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted and several pieces of methamphetamine were located and seized by police.
