PENSACOLA, FL - Florida Gov. Rick Scott spent Thursday morning taking a look at recovery efforts following recent flooding in Pensacola.
Television station WEAR reported crews were working to restore water service to homes along Piedmont Road, one of the hardest hit areas of the city.
"There is going to be a lot of work to do," Scott told reporters. "In my experience with FEMA, I dealt with them after Debbie and after Isaac...I know they'll work their tail off, and we got to make sure we hold everybody accountable."
Scott promised the continued support of the state government and said he would look into concerns raised by some business owners that their flood insurance wold not cover the days they're closed for repair.
