Gov. Bentley, State EMA to Hold News Conference on Preps for Isaac

MOBILE, Al – Governor Robert Bentley will hold a news conference Monday to discuss preparations ahead of Isaac's expected landfall along the Gulf Coast.

Governor Bentley will be joined by Alabama Emergency Management Agency Director Art Faulkner, the National Weather Service, and other state and local leaders.

Monday's news conference will take place at 11:00 a.m. at the Mobile Convention Center.

Governor Bentley continues to urge people along the coast and inland to prepare ahead of Isaac. Forecasts can change quickly, and residents are encouraged to continuously monitor weather updates.

The Ready Alabama website, www.readyalabama.gov, includes information on preparing for hurricanes. The Alabama Emergency Management Agency also has information online at www.ema.alabama.gov.
