Glitch in Updating Nintendo's New Wii U?

The new Nintendo video game console, the Wii U has only been available since Sunday, but there may be a small hitch in getting started.

To access features like the internet browser or to play older Wii games, an update estimated to be up to five gigabytes in size has to be downloaded.

This download could take a large amount of time.

There are some reports that if you lose the internet connection mid-download that the system could fail and you would need a replacement.

News 4’s Overnight Producer Sean Sporman, who purchased a Wii U on launch day, says that his download of the update did get interrupted.

However, the update picked up from the point it lost the connection, finished, and installed without any further problems.
