Morgan Hasty is fighting a rare cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma, but her family says she is very strong. She is bringing awareness to many forms of childhood cancers by performing the "Whipping Childhood Cancer" challenge on many residents in the Wiregrass.
"It’s a good feeling to know that we have the potential to help someone to maybe not have to go through what we’ve been through for the past four years," David Hasty, her father, said.
Once nominated, you must perform the challenge within 46 hours, which represents the number of kids diagnosed with cancer each year, and then afterward, donate $7. If you fail to do the challenge, you must give $46 instead.
The new challenge comes in the wake of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, however, this one is a much warmer and sweeter alternative.
