Georgia voters in district 11 have made a decision on who will fill the vacant senate seat.
Long-time senator John Bulloch's health-related resignation left a need for a special election.
After that balloting... Two men were put in a run-off.
City councilman Dean Burke won the seat with 58-percent of the vote... Beating his opponent former congressional nominee Mike Keown.
Both are republicans.
Dr. Burke of Bainbridge is an obstetrician and gynecologist ... And has served on the Bainbridge city council since 2007.
