Election officials are projecting voter turnout in Early County to be in the low teens. We will update as final numbers and results come in.

Voting is underway in Georgia's primary election.

On the state ballot are Governor, State School Superintendent and U.S. Representative for District 2.

Locally, residents in Clay County will vote on a Sunday alcohol sales referendum.

In Blakely, voters will decide a proposal to allow the sale of liquor by the drink. Early County voters will pick a new District 3 Commissioner.

And in Seminole County, voters will decide who will fill the remainder of this term for the District 2 Commission seat, as well as who will fill the seat for the next four years.

Polls will be open until 7:00 p.m.
