Geneva County Fuel Theft
A Miami, Florida man is accused of using a device to steal hundreds of dollars worth of diesel fuel from a Geneva County service station.

This week, the Geneva County Sheriff's Office made an unusual arrest in a case involving the theft of large quantities of diesel fuel.
Surveillance cameras caught the driver of a white semi truck paying a few cents at Revel's Service Plaza between Samson and Kinston. Authorities say the suspect used a "pulsar” device on the pump to cause the misreading.
Geneva county deputies arrested Omar Guevara for theft of property and possession of burglary tools. Similar crimes have been reported at large truck stops along interstates.
