A LONG-TIME FIGURE IN LAW ENFORCEMENT IN THE WIREGRASS HAS ANNOUNCED PLANS TO "HANG UP THE BADGE AND HOLSTER".
FRANKIE LINDSEY HAS BEEN GENEVA POLICE CHIEF FOR THE LAST 24-YEARS.
IN THE 1970'S AND 80'S, THE GENEVA NATIVE SPENT TIME AS A SHERIFF'S OFFICE CHIEF DEPUTY AND DISTRICT ATTORNEY INVESTIGATOR.
WITH SOME 41-YEARS UNDER HIS BELT ... CHIEF LINDSEY RETIRES ON DECEMBER 31st.
