Geneva County Sheriff Department Space

Geneva County Sheriff Greg Ward says he expects more from his county commission when it comes to protecting sexually abused children.

Sheriff Ward says he simply doesn't have space for an adequate interview room inside the Geneva County Courthouse.

He says such interviews often have to be moved to facilities in Dothan.

The sheriff told commissioners he's is in desperate need of space.

The board will study the concern and make a decision at its next meeting.
