Geneva County Road Paving

Work begins on Geneva County Road 40 in Coffee Springs. This road was placed directly over a railroad trusses in the 1950's . Time and traffic has resulted in the road to sink at several locations creating dangerous driving conditions. Some six-hundred thousand dollars in federal and local match monies are being used to repair several roads.
On the November General Ballot, Geneva County voters will be asked to approve a penny sales tax increase to fund road paving along with a new jail...
