Geneva Co. Wreck

The staff at the Merle Wallace Purvis Center in Geneva is credited with helping a driver involved in a one vehicle wreck.

Just after 8 a.m. on Thursday, the unidentified driver overturned several times in his Dodge pick-up truck on Geneva County Road 4 between Geneva and Black. Stephanie Hendrix and her staff broke through the back windshield and provided aid to the driver who was entrapped upside down.

The driver was transported to the Wiregrass Medical Center in Geneva. His condition is not known, but his injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
