People living in a small Alabama border town say it was like being stranded on a desolate island for more than a month.
People in Black had very few options for travel while Geneva County road four was closed for repairs.
That road has now been re-opened ... So folks no longer have to take long detours.
For Wade King and his family it was a true hardship.
