ATLANTA (AP) -- Atlanta police say they're going to begin charging standard towing fees for cars that were abandoned as traffic jams left drivers stranded during a snowstorm earlier this week.
Police said in a statement that they'd begin towing cars that were left on the sides of local roads at noon Sunday after the department waived impound fees for drivers who were stranded earlier this week.
Police say normal fees will now be applied to cars being towed from the city's streets.
