Georgia Governor, Nathan Deal is responding to Florida's lawsuit against the state.
Earlier this week, Florida filed suit over Georgia's water consumption.
The state shares a river system with Florida and Alabama.
The lawsuit is an escalation in a legal dispute that's been going on for more than two decades.
Florida wants the Supreme Court to force the Peach State to share water more equally.
The lawsuit comes in the wake of the near collapse of Florida's oyster industry.
Governor deal accuses Florida of wasting tax dollars on a frivolous lawsuit. He says the state is looking for a "bogeyman to blame for its poor management of Apalachicola Bay."
