TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- Florida House Speaker-designate Will Weatherford has named three more top lieutenants for the 2013 and 2014 legislative sessions.
The Wesley Chapel Republican announced the intended appointments on Monday. All are Republicans.
Weatherford named Reps. Chris Dorworth of Lake Mary as majority leader, Marti Coley of Marianna as speaker pro-tempore and Robert Schenck as Rules Committee chairman.
He previously named Rep. Seth McKeel of Lakeland as budget chairman.
Weatherford's rise to speaker and the appointments are contingent upon all being re-elected and the GOP retaining its majority at the Nov. 6 election.
Lawmakers will hold a one-day reorganization session on Nov. 20.
