Furloughed Cilivians Are Being Brought Back to Work

The DOD is expected to bring back hundreds-of-thousands of civilian workers, who were furloughed during the government shutdown.

Secretary of Defense, Chuck Hagel, made the announcement on Saturday.

He said employees will be asked to return starting this week.

Hagel also says the law allows the agency to eliminate furloughs for employees whose responsibilities contribute to the morale, well-being, and readiness of service members.
