"Friendship is Magic" DVD Pre-Order Skyrockets Up Amazon DVD Charts

Shout Factory, known for DVD releases of shows from “Power Rangers” to “Dennis the Menace,” announced a full season set of the first season of "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic."

Within a day, pre-orders of the Amazon exclusive propelled the DVD to the third-best selling DVD on Amazon for much of Saturday, even beating out such DVDs of "The Hunger Games" for a while!

As of early Monday morning, the release was #21 on Amazon’s DVD charts, still beating out releases such as “The Walking Dead: The Complete Second Season” and “Battleship.”
