Soldiers from Fort Rucker took a break from training to give back to the community.
The bullock class community service included prepping the depot museum in enterprise for a new coat of paint. Volunteering gives soldiers the opportunity to work together outside of their uniforms.
"It's good to get out of the classroom every once and a while and just be ourselves be out of uniform and kind of express who we are on a personal level. In our class we don't get much time to talk or intervene with each other but coming out here its good to sit back and relax a bit and have fun for once,” said 2nd Lt. Joshua Paille.
Officials from the museum hope that painting can be completed within the next month with the help of future bullock classes. Each bullock class tries to do at least one community service event to help improve nearby communities.
