Former President, Randy Griggs retired back in December.
Griggs came to Dothan in 1982 and has been with the association ever since.
He's still involved in the field of peanuts; currently working with officials from Alabama, Georgia, Florida and Mississippi.
Griggs says he has enough memories to last a lifetime.
"We visited orphanages and to see the first time they tasted peanut butter will always be special and some of those reactions you got from those children will stay with me a long time, " says Griggs.
Griggs says he's excited about the new farm bill.
He says it seems to be a fair compromise.
