50 states in six years --- that's the quest of one man.
Mac McQuown is a former U-S Marine who is walking across the country to drum up support for wounded and homeless veterans.
He says he didn't think enough was being done to honor veterans.
Today 9/3 he marched to the Old Capitol in Tallahassee.
McQuown said, "Every state produces veterans. So what better way to bring light back to the veterans and the appreciation for veterans than to march to all 50 capitols."
He's been walking for more than a year and has put in more than 13 hundred miles.
Florida is his ninth state.
