Former Auburn University Montgomery President Passes Away

Henry Hanley Funderburk Jr. served as Auburn University Montgomery’s first chancellor and 12th president. He was 81 years old.

Funderburk served as president from 1980 to 1983. And became president of eastern Kentucky University in 1985.

He also authorized the addition of athletics at auburn in 1975.

A memorial service is to be announced.
