A former high school band director in Brewton, Alabama, has been arrested on sex charges.
Jeffery Gainous was the band director at T.R. Miller High School. He was arrested Wednesday for allegedly having sexual relationships with eight high school girls over the last three years.
Investigators say Gainous tied up the girls and gagged them using ropes and other bondage devices. The sex acts reportedly happened in the band room and at Gainous' home.
He's charged with one count of a school employee engaging in a sexual act with a student. More charges could be filed.
Gainous left T.R. Miller High in June to take a position at Thomas County Central High School in Thomasville, Georgia.
