There are different jobs in hospitals; Doctors, Nurses, even Financial Officers.
This time of year they are taking on a different title; Christmas carolers.
"Encore, " cheered patient Phylliss Wise.
That was the response of many Flowers Hospital patients as a group of hospital employees went to different rooms singing Christmas hits.
Patients like Lisa Gonzalez say it's more than just songs.
"It makes me think a lot about how beautiful Christmas can be, " says Gonzalez.
"Thank you all for such caring thoughtfulness. Thank you for all the wonderful care that this hospital has given me but you are the icing on the cake, " Wise told the carolers.
For Chief Financial Officer Talana Bell, this is a simple act of kindness that was instilled in her long ago.
"When I was a kid we use to go and sing Christmas carols to patients and residents of nursing homes and they always responded so positively and they loved it. People are very appreciative when you take the time to do something for them like that. I mean it's a simple thing, lets do it. I am just glad we have the opportunity to do it, " says Bell.
"They have a lot of nurses here and they have a lot of people here that help and help the patients very much, " says Gonzalez.
"I think it soothes them a little bit. Maybe, makes them feel a little better. It makes my Christmas. I get more of a blessing out of it than they do, " says Bell.
"I wish you all a merry Christmas and may god bless you all, " says Gonzalez.
Flowers employees sang songs like "The First Noel" and "We Wish You A Merry Christmas".
