The Florala Town Council has agreed to remove debris from drainage ditches in the downtown district.
Heavy rains earlier in the week, resulted in several instances of flooding off 6th and 7th streets.
The clogged ditches slowed the ability of the sewer system to keep up with the street water run-off.
The town recorded more than 7-inches of rainfall.
