Florala Beaver Issue

Credit: AP

Florala town officials are looking at all options when it comes to controlling wayward beavers.

The animals have been building dams in a wetlands area which has caused flooding in several neighborhoods by Florala High School.

Every 60-to-90 days, city workers have removed the beaver dams.

But local residents say recent heavy rains have caused the water to back flow on their land.
