Monday evening into Tuesday morning, several counties in the Wiregrass were placed under Flash Flood Warnings, including Houston and Dale counties.
Those were due to heavy rain showers that were slow moving and produced some very notable rain totals. Through 1:00am Tuesday morning, the Dothan airport reported 4.09” of rain--nearly three of those inches coming in just a six hour period.
The Cairnes army air field in Ozark reported 1.26 inches, but just to the north, the Troy Municipal Airport recorded no measurable rain on Monday.
