First Foster Fest With New Ordinance

By  |

Foster Fest is a summer tradition that has gone on for years. This year Dothan is bringing something different to the festival. The city passed an open container alcohol ordinance in March.

"It allows the adult beverages to move out of the bar rooms or actually even restaurants to move out, so people can walk and look at the antique cars and have a good time," said Dothan City Manager Mike West.

The ordinance was enforced earlier this year at the International Foster Fest, and organizers say it was a huge success.
