An investigation continues into an apartment fire Friday in Dothan.
The fire started around 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of Fortner Street and South Park Avenue at Park Way Apartments.
Fire officials say they got a call after someone who was driving by saw smoke coming from a top apartment.
Authorities say reaction time to an apartment complex fire is crucial.
"The potential of having multiple victims or multiple injuries in one fire is a high priority but we were able to quickly get in an assess it. No one was home and no one was in danger, we were able to get the fire under control and limit the damage," said Chris Etheredge.
The fire was contained to one apartment and no one was injured.
The cause is still unknown.
