At least 21 people are receiving treatment for burns after walking over hot coals at a Tony Robbins event in California.
Six thousand people walked over the coals at this event in order to live out the “unleash the power within” credo of motivator Tony Robbins.
Participants claim that they were warned about the possibility of burns and firefighters claim that the proper permits were obtained by the event planners. Medical personnel were also waiting on the scene.
Organizers claim that the coals were between twelve-hundred and two thousand degrees.
