Fire Nearly Destroys Ga. Mall

MABLETON, Ga. (AP) -- Fire nearly destroyed a strip mall outside Atlanta.

Investigators say the Sunday morning blaze is considered suspicious.

Authorities say the fired damaged three businesses and a church at the Clay Plaza Shopping Center in Mableton, just northwest of Atlanta.

Minnie Scott, one of the pastors at Word of Life Covenant Church, said the scene was "really disheartening."

No injuries were reported.
