Fifth-Anniversary Samson Massacre

A sunny, late winter afternoon in Western Geneva County...
Became the scene of the worst mass murder incident ever to occur in Alabama.
Today marks the fifth anniversary of the day Michael McClendon went on a shooting rampage through Coffee and Geneva counties...
McClendon first killed his mother and her dogs before he set fire to their home in Kinston.
He then drove to Samson where he shot complete strangers on the street and outside homes.
McClendon took ten lives before turning the gun on himself.
Geneva County Deputy Josh Myers lost his wife and young daughter in the shooting rampage.
