A single-vehicle accident claimed one victim in Escambia County late Wednesday evening.
A Cadillac was traveling southbound on Muldon Road, south of Cerny Road, in Escambia County around 11pm Wednesday Evening.
Witnesses say that the driver lost control of the vehicle, leaving the roadway onto the west shoulder.
Once on the shoulder, the vehicle began to rotate counter clockwise and struck a tree.
After this, the vehicle was engulfed in flames. This caused the vehicle to be totaled.
An Escambia County Paramedic pronounced the victim, unknown at this time, dead on the scene.
