Troy- Some Trojan fans are trying to pack the stadium for this season’s home opener.
A recent Troy graduate started the push, “Operation: 30,000.”
He’s turned to social media like Facebook and YouTube to spread the message.
They’ve received a lot of feedback.
“When the players come out and see 5000 - 6000 fans. It kind of saps their energy. But if they come out and see 30000 fans , I think 30000 fans and the band combined can have a big impact on the game,” said Rhett Griffith.
The Trojans kick off this Saturday evening at 6 against Louisiana-Lafayette.
