Dylan Brown led a balanced Faith Academy attack with 20 points, propelling Faith Academy past Russell County in a 5A Regional Semifinal Contest on Tuesday at the Dothan Civic Center. With the win, the Rams advanced to face Eufaula Friday at 10:40 a.m. for the 5A Regional title and a trip to the Final 48 in Birmingham.
Brown wasn't alone on Tuesday. James Davis and Braszaun Barnes each scored 11 points, while Shawn Bernard and Josh Hill added 10 points each.
Faith Academy got better as the game went on, scoring 15 points in the first and second quarters, before pulling away after the break with 18 and 21 point periods against the over-matched Warriors.
Artavious Porter led Russell County with 19 points. The Warriors end the year with a 12-14 record.
