The Dothan Airport first reported fog just before 3am, and from 4am through 7am, visibility was only a quarter to a half of a mile. Visibility was also reduced to a quarter of a mile in that same time period in locations like Marianna. It was even denser in Troy, with the lowest visibility coming in at just 15-hundredths of a mile.
The fog dissipated later in the morning, and the Dense Fog Advisory was allowed to expire at 8am.
