The 20-12 election saw higher than usual voter turnout, but still... in Florida, only 63 percent of eligible voters actually chose to cast a ballot.
Election reform advocates say scores of people who wanted to vote couldn't because they forgot to register.
That's why Democrats in Tallahassee want to make registration automatic.
