Tanning beds and sun lamps will now carry the warning that they should not be used by anyone under age 18. They will also warn consumers of what they are doing to their skin.
The Food and Drug Administration says it's an effort to reduce skin cancer rates linked to radiation-emitting devices.
The new classification warning label on beds will be a Class II, meaning a high risk, instead of the previous Class I, low to moderate risk.
