Explosive Device In New Brockton

Explosive experts from Fort Benning are in the process of removing what one official described as an old army shell.
They found the device in a remote field off the New Brockton highway 84 bypass.
The Dothan bomb squad along with Houston County Sheriff's Office Homeland Security rapid response team are assisting.
One official says it appears the device may be several decades old.
They'll have to take defensive action if they determine it to be a live round.
