Eufaula Authorities Need Your Help Locating Shooting Suspect

The Eufaula Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred within the city around 10:45 p.m. Thursday, January 30th. The victim, 20-year-old Darrian Scott of Eufaula was taken by private vehicle to Medical Center Barbour and transferred to Southeast Alabama Medical Center by Eufaula Rescue where he later died.

Investigators are continuing to collect evidence with the aid of the Department of Homeland Security’s Mobile Crime Unit from Houston County. An arrest warrant has been obtained, and several law enforcement agencies are aggressively looking for the suspect, Marques (Marquis) Ivory, a black male, 5’5” tall, and 168 pounds with a bald head or a shaved head with small dreads on top. Ivory is wanted for a capital murder in Darrian Scott's death. Ivory should be considered armed and dangerous. He is known to frequent the Bluff Park Apartment area and Georgetown, Georgia.
