A case of public intoxication in Geneva turns into an assault case.
Police say... 26-year-old Eric Stokes ... Cursed at officers outside a Geneva home.
Police say he also tried to strangle one of the officers.
Once Stokes was subdued ... He was arrested and charged with 3-counts of assault ... As well as resisting arrest.
He was booked into the Geneva County jail.
